These Primary Red Rooster Coque Tail Feathers range from approximately 2 inches up to 5 inches. These are part of our clearout feathers where some attention may be needed to bring out the best of them.

Trimmed feathers are ideal for millinery projects including adding a splash of colour to an old hat or fascinator.

Stripping is a process that removes approximately 3/4 inches of feather from the bottom portion of the stem, to leave beautiful feather tips in order to create a very unique couture look. The tips of the coque feathers are thicker and wider than the stripped hackle or turkey feather. The natural white color of coque tails lends itself to dyeing vibrant, bright colors.
