Rooster schlappen feathers are thicker than saddles or hackle feathers. They are more rounded at the tip. Schalappen feathers soft flexible feathers, and fluffy near the quill.
This variety of schlappen identified as Half-Bronze, is naturally fluffy white at the end of the quill with a greenish iridescent colour covering half, or parts of the feathers, and white with reddish-brown coloration on the other half or through the centre of the feather.
They are then dyed retaiting the iridescent bronze effect.
