Feathers measure approx 4 inches long. They are made with stripped Rooster Hackle Feathers and glued and arranged on to a piece of fabric.

Stripping feathers is a unique process where the quill is stripped approximately 3/4 of its feather. This leaves behind beautiful feather tips. Decorative beads are then attached to some of the stripped areas of the quill. These Feather Hackle Plates are available in a variety of colours and can be cut to any size.
